Sacred to the memory of THOMAS SCOTLAND Esq., who died at Macao 10th July 1844, aged 21 years.
Sacred to the memory of Mrs. JANE SPENCER, wife of N. Spencer Esq., of Bombay, who died at Macao 27th August 1844. Aged 39 years.
Erected by his fellow countryman to the memory of THOMAS W. WALDRON Esq., Consul of the United States of America for Hong Kong, and Naval store keeper for the U.S. East India Squadron. He died at Macao 8th September 1844, aged 52 years. Born at Portsmouth New Hampshire, U.S.A.
In memory of CHARLES F. GANGER. A musician of the U.S. Frigate Brandywine Commodore F.A. Parker, died 15th October 1844, aged 50 years. May he rest in peace.
Sacred to the memory of R. V. WARREN. Aged 22 years. Murdered on board schooner "Kapa" by Chinese whilst on her voyage to Whampoa from Macao, on the night of the 29th October 1844. This tribute to his memory is erected by his affectionate brother H.V. Warren.
Sacred to the memory of Captain ISAAC E. ENGLE late commander of the American Barque "Valparaiso." Native of Chester, Valparaiso. Died at Macao on the 3rd day of November 1844. Aged 46 years.
To the memory of JOHN WILSON WHITWELL; Yorkshire, England who died of fever on the 24th November 1844, aged 21 years.
Here lies the remains of LEWIS HAMILTON native of U.S. of America. Born April 24th 1779 who departed this life at Macao May 14th 1845. Aged 67 years.
Sacred to the memory of WILLIAM HENRY LEGGET who departed this life 23rd September 1845. Aged 43 years.
CORNELIA BRACKENRIDGE, wife of the Rev. William SPEER, born at Pittsburg Penn. Sept. 24th 1822. Died at Macao Sept. 26th 1846. A member of the company which commenced the mission of the Presbyterian Board U.S.A. in the Province of Canton. Also their infant daughter MARY CORNELIA born February 5th died July 8th. "They shall walk with me in white. Rev. 3:4."
